My 2 1/2 year old son absolutely LOVES Thomas the Tank Engine. We just happened to come into the store to purchase a few items during the ToysRUs Thomas Event! Since we moved from Florida not long ago this was our first event at this Muncy, PA location. We were told about the event by staff at the customer service area because I think they heard me asking my son if he wanted a Thomas lunch box. I was really impressed and so happy that they directed us to the event! Upon arrival, Aryn Fay immediately welcomed us. He was very engaging with the kids and attentive to their needs. They provided a lot of fun activities like a coloring station, play station with PLENTY of awesome trains, and provided complimentary thomas cards. We stayed for over 30 minutes and would have stayed longer if we didn't have a lot of shopping to do! Great event, wonderful staff, excellent store!
This was the worst expierence at this store. Bought my daughter and son a furreal cat, calico critters family, a remote control fire truck, Mr. Dusty Garbage truck, 2 Thomas the train character trains and some other stuff. The furreal cat had a sign that clearly stated 34.99. I double checked with the in store scanner and it rang up at 24.99. also the calico critters we're buy one get one at "x" amount off. Only they mean the accessories only. After waiting in line for over 15 minutes they finally opened up another line, which made 2 lines open total. My order was rung up and I didn't pay much attention until I payed. When I payed as I was walking out I realized they charged me over 40 dollars for furreal cat. Waiting at customer service for over 10 minutes, with no employees even glancing over at it. Although 2 lines were open and 5 employees stood around and talked. After talking to a older lady some very young with wildy colored hair and piercings the manager. She told me that the furreal cat rang up right. That the in store price checker was inaccurate and the sign was wrong. Very disappointed in this store. Can see why they are going bankrupt. Will be going to Target not even a mile away.
I was thrilled with how well I did Christmas shopping for my granddaughter. With dicounts, sales, etc it was great.
It's a little cluttered, but overall not bad. Some employees need an attitude adjustment.. if I have a need, baby-wise, I really a drive to a babies r us, instead..
The selection is ok, the first staff members I experienced were lovely. However, when I called the store to ask about price matching to the Toys R Us website, the woman on the phone was quite rude. I had the displeasure of having to speak to her twice, once to call about the original price matching and once to ask how to get the original receipt if I misplaced it. She cut me off the second time and hung up on me.
